CODE ACCEPTABILITY / CERTIFICATION
The fastening systems detailed in this manual are all approved for use by various local building codes. For specific information consult the International Conference of Building Officials, Whittier California, and refer to ICC-ESR Report 1411. The Twisted Wire Tyle-Tye® System and the Riness® Tile-Tie system are Los Angeles City approved. All Tyle-Tye® Systems conform to A.S.T.M. and Federal QQW standards and have been approved for use all over the continental U.S. and Japan. Tyle-Tye® systems were originally designed by a California architect for seismic zones 3 & 4 and have been used there for over 70 years.
