Newport Tool & Fastener Company, Inc. was founded in 1962 to serve the roof tile industry. In 1982 we merged operations with Tyle Tye, Inc., enabling us to better serve our industry. We can trace our beginnings back to 1929 when Tyle Tye® was invented by a California Architect. We now own the original trademarks and copyrights to the group of products known as Tyle-Tye® systems (1929) and Riness® Tile-Tie (1931).
Throughout the years, Newport Tool & Fastener has researched, designed, and developed many new fasteners and accessories to facilitate the secure attachment of all types of roofing tiles to any type of roof deck. Newport Tool & Fastener has specialized in mechanical roof fastening systems since it's beginning and is recognized throughout the construction industry as "Roof Fastener Specialists". Working closely with roof tile manufacturers, Newport Tool & Fastener is considered "the source" for roof tile fastening systems.
